Satake Ame is a beautiful series of knives designed with power, strength, balance and tradition.
The design of the blade is inspired by the Japanese Ame, which means rain.
The blade´s so-called "Rain Pattern" is not only beautiful but also makes that raw products, such as potatoes, are not sucked onto the blade when cutting.
- 21 cm Gyuto (Chef´s knife)
- Hand-tapped blade of 5 layers of AUS10 steel
- The hardness of the blade is 60-61 HRC

- Gyuto is the Japanese name for Western chef's knives. It has a slightly lower profile than Japanese chef's knives (Santoku) with a sharper finish on the blade. A gyuto is excellent for vegetables, roots, fish, poultry and meat.
* Vril - or masur as it is also called, is an outgrowth on a tree where the fibers go in different directions instead of vertically. Vril / Masur wood is much sought after because it is incredibly beautiful and harder than ordinary wood.
